Citroen 2CV code 148. Size 840mm x 595mm - 23½ x 33 (A1).
The 2CV or Deux Chevaux was originally designed by Pierre Boulanger in
1936; his intriguing design brief envisioned 4 wheels under an
umbrella and “the ability to cross a ploughed field without breaking
any eggs carried in a basket”!! Probably the most archetypal French
vehicle ever built; during the 60's & 70's a generation of
impoverished students loved the simplistic engineering and amazing mpg.
Five million models were produced up to 1990 when production ceased.
This fabulous 'fun' poster certainly encapsulates the free spirit of
2CV’s and is an exact recreation of the original showroom poster.
