The Austin Healey 3000 was originally launched in 1959 with a 2912cc
engine and was capable of 112 mph. Production continued until 1961 when
the Mk ll was announced and performance improved due to its superior
triple carburetion system. It was superseded again in 1963 by the Mk
llA (top speed 116 mph). The final 3000 (Mk lll) was produced in 1964
with the top speed now around 122 mph. Production continued until 1968.
The Healey 3000 was a true British thoroughbred. Our showroom poster
